Just checking Google Maps and it seems that the Sandall & Agbrigg station is not too far a walk from the stadium - is this a good option for tomorrow's game as I won't be driving?

Sorry if it seems a daft and simple question, just wanting to get my bearings as not been in a year or so. Looking forward to being back.

Depends where you are coming from and on which train service...

S&A if on a local service on the London-Leeds mainline ("Intercity" service doesn't stop there).

Kirkgate if on the Leeds-South Yorks line.

But yes, all 3 of the City's train stations are walkable.

I'm guessing you've already looked at the trains that fit your schedule and S&A fits the bill. Not the prettiest approach to a place called Belle Vue!

I will be coming from Adwick, so Northern.

So you could defo get off at S&A, but if you are coming in good time, I'd suggest staying on for 1 more stop to Westgate, then enjoying a call into 1 or 2 of the very decent hostelries on the way to the ground from the City - making a big assumption that drinkies are on your agenda, of course.

Get off at SA mate.
If you stay on to Westgate and call in pubs on the Westgate run it'll be a long walk to BV!

Check your timetable as there will still be disruption after the strike today by Northern train drivers
