| I know we haven't played a minutes Rugby yet but on paper could it be argued that we now have the best coaching staff and Rugby related support staff in place than at any other time in the clubs history. Now the record of Ken Traill and Paddy Armour in the glory days of the 60`s would probably poo poo the above statement, following that I think we had some great people in place, I remember Ben Quansah who was a permanent fixture as club physio for years, he did a great job alongside Doc Hulme keeping the 1979 Wembley team fit that season. Then I remember a fitness guy that Ted and Eric brought in from Saint Helens or Hudds I think who did a brilliant job when we had Korki and the likes, I have never know us have a team as fit as that side. Also thinking back to when Sid Domic pulled his hamstring shortly before the play offs, he was sent off to some ex pro player turned physio based in Fev who had some revolutionary methods that got Sid back playing in two weeks. So since Traill and Armour we have had great people but now we seem to have the best ` team` of coaching staff and support staff all together that I remember.

| No mention of him so far but I was told that Powell wanted Shenton as his assistant, which has obviously now happened, so I'm guessing that Sheridan isn't coming ??

I think everybody agreed with Ben at the time, trin, but big Bill was such an iconic player that they hoped his sheer presence on the field would be enough to justify the risk.

| I think the backroom staff really starting to take shape for 2024.
For the first year in a long time, feeling really positive and looking forward to next season
