Is this because a) we are waiting for the ownership issue to be settled and the prices to be set or b) we do not know what league we are in yet !

I highly doubt that we will be exempt from relegation this late in the party.

The issue with clubs pulling out means a critical reshuffle of merging the clubs into the championship from league 1 and promoting 2 to SL along with Trinity remaining.

Interestingly though would the players who had contracts at trinity then re-activate.

All the above completely wild thinking though and I’d be 99% certain it’s just patience till takeover is confirmed. I would imagine a lot of these things are already waiting to co and be announced soon as takeover completes.

To turn down a SL spot would be pure idiocy yes.

It might be a bit of a scramble to get a few players in but the 4 year deal indicates a plan to improve over time of SL is reached. It would be no different if we were in SL next year. Ellis ultimately wants a playoff SL challenging team after 4 years.

I think it will be interesting to see attendances next year in SL, if all games are on TV then that would stop a few going across the M62.

No way, we would be far better than last season. We will have a decent coach and most important someone running the rugby side who knows what they are doing, unlike clueless Carter.
