You know what. Yes. Sorry Willie but this team is turning out to be Chester team in drag.

| I'm happy with Willie as coach.
If Smith comes as consultancy or advisory then great.

| Wouldn't say no, we would play with Clear plan and ethos. Wheels have fallen off at HKR as he's off but still this teams needs a lot of guidance which I think Smith could provide Poching maybe just too much of a good guy to make him a ruthless head coach.
St the very least he could be a director of Rugby, someone to look after that side of the operation.

| Which Tony Smith the one at Castleford who I think is going to be the assistant at Dewsbury or the one we almost certainly can’t afford

Somehow I can’t imagine Tony Smith being understudy to someone who he was head coach over, when Willie was his assistant coach. Stranger things have happened.

well you've changed your tune - imagine if someone ELSE had said that a few weeks ago - you'd have jumped right down their throat.
I told you before the season started willie wasn't the man for the job.
Given the reasons Smith left KR I cant see him considering wakey as a positive career step.

A little uncalled for from a poster who often likes to visit other clubs forums to leave a deposit plus I thought his daughter was a bigger fan then her dad.

I think we can post this along with those telling us that Wally Lewis was coming back to play for us.

No, but I don’t begrudge them having a wealthy backer and I guess a successful business man, it is actually a good reflection on the game.

| Smith had already said that he was leaving KR at the end of the season. So, it's fair to assume that he has something lined up.
Could he really make a difference short term ?
He is an excellent proven SL coach but, when he's moved, it has generally taken time for him to change things.
Equally, you could say that with a bigger spend a KR, the world hasn't exactly been set alight by their results.
Can you imagine how it would be on here if we had been well beaten in Toulouse, our game was certainly closer than theirs.
Lets see how we go with something close to a first 17 on the field, especially in the centres.

Trouble is, that seems a long way in the future.

Strange because you begrudge the club you claim to support almost anything. Maybe Hudds is more the club for you?
