See the latest on the above two is that cas are rumoured to have signed widdop (or in the throes of) and that Willy would like to keep Miller - which suggests that isnt a done deal

The club don’t know because they haven’t asked him, TJ or Batchelor if they had signed elsewhere. This is a bit strange if they are suppose to be in negotiation regarding new contracts.

At the Friday lunch in May, MC said he couldn’t announce any transfer information re Tom J, J Miller and Batch because those players hadn’t told if they had signed for other clubs, only Miller had said to him he’d been offered more money, he was happy at Trinity and would really like to continue here, but money talks, MC did say that Trinity wanted to keep Jacob, and are trying to raise funds to keep him, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Anyway, last Sunday after the drop goal, you wouldn’t have thought any Trinity players on the pitch we’re unhappy at this club.

I tend to agree with you regarding the way the players celebrated after that drop goal!
On another site DF is not ruling out taking up the option of staying another year. I hope he does and gets his brother over here -well we can dream, but it would lift the whole team, club and supporters! |

I think we all remember the effort put in by Solomona in the million pound game despite being injured and the celebrations at the end but by the next season he had signed for Bradford.

If that came off and David was joined by his brother for his swan song ( know David is keen ) we would be the envy of super league, just imagine , it’s what dreams are made of as a wakefield fan . |

If they were negotiating I think the player or their agent would say sorry I have or he has signed elsewhere don’t you think. I am sure you will be able to explain why this would not be the case. |

Well that's not a good negotiation is it?
The agent will work both sides to get the best deal and then decide.
They won't tell the other side what they are doing. Seems a bit obvious to explain.
It certainly doesn't mean we aren't negotiating. |

It only works if they have not signed for another club, let’s hope so because we can’t afford both playing and financially to lose them especially with our current recruitment policy. |
