| I am not in any way accepting that we will go down this year, but if we did, 2024 is rumoured to be going to 2 x 10.
That means in 2023 we would have to finish in the top 10 to stay in "SL1".
If not, we would be in SL2 in 2024.
If we go do down in 2022, we would need to be in the Championship top 8 in 2023 to be in SL2 in 2024. Same end result.
We don't just need to build/develop a team that doesn't get relegated this year, we need a team that can finish top 10 the year after - as a minimum!

| I don’t want them to stick to 2x10 leagues - talk about shrinking the sport further!

If ever there is a time to speculate to accumulate its next season (if this comes to pass). If we keep bumbling along we will end up getting bit eventually.

| Every week I hope we have worked out where we are going wrong but every week nothing changes. I now believe they are out of ideas and just don’t know what to do. I guess we have reached the hope that an individual player will drag us to victory.

I honestly don't know what you watch but the point with sport is that things don't always go to plan.
I'm certain they are working their s off for this and finding it tough.
To me there has been improvement in both Huddersfield and Toulouse game, it just didn't fall our way.
I get that you are only sounding off on a forum and it doesn't mean you don't care, but I'm a great believer in backing your family, your mates and your team. When they are doing it tough, that's when you cheer louder and that's when you have to keep the faith.
I realise it's not perfect but moaning and negativity won't help at all.
I heard some drunk idiots at Hull KR saying they weren't fit to wear the shirt and they wanted Kear instead of Willie. We have posters who never post when we win now saying they want Carter out.
I hope they are the minority but for me I will be cheering them on at Leeds and will have a sore throat at the end. I'll be disappointed if we lose but I'll still back them in the next game. Because I'm red, white and blue as you like to call me.

| I feel we are going down this year, I had hoped for better but since half time against Salford we have fallen of a cliff. We've had plenty of escapes over the years but that catches up eventually. I also thought the proposed changed to 10x10 will also see the club drop out of the top flight in 2024 too. In someway it will be a relief to compete at a level more accustomed to our revenue streams rather than the constantly struggle (with the odd blip) in SL.

Since TJ won us the game single handed that first half. He hasn’t hit that same form since and it’s been stop start but we shouldn’t just be relying on TJ to turn games.

31007_1580947500.jpg EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_31007.jpg |

| This two leagues of ten idea has been floating around for so long that it is becoming an accepted fact. I think it is an accepted fact that we won't be popular members if we squeak in. If we do, we probably won't last long in it, as we will be by far the poorest member.
At some point, we are going.
The argument is all about the talent pool. I would agree with that, in that we don't have enough talent and our national side is further away from Australia than we have been for a long time. The grass roots should be the target, not picking at the top flight, as the talent pool has to get bigger. Grow the game in the soil to get the produce on the top, or something.
As for us, I think we might scrape it this year. If we are the same next year, I think Featherstone might come up looking strong.

Re your last sentence Slugger. Do you really think Sky Sports, the RL / Super League, will put up with 3 teams from the Wakefield district in SL. i can't see it happening. With 2 from Hull in SL that would be 5 out of the 12, almost half of Super League from just 2 cities in England.

This is an excellent point.
Hull FC, Cas and Fev should all be banned from SL.
Sorted.
