I know Max is now clear to play, but should we try to extend Escare’s loan period?

We are 2 1st choice wingers down...

I think Escare would take a bit of bedding in, he's looking really solid at FB but getting the best he has to offer will take more than a couple of weeks stand in.
His game involves developing an understanding with team mates, whilst he's dug us out of this hole by just being competent, if we're going to pay him top dollar I want him in the squad playing every week and doing what he's capable of....ripping it up.

Next week would be the perfect time to give him another run.

CCup games are always more open affairs. We are on a back to back run. Hopefully the weather will be better. He’s responded well in the reserves. It won’t be on TV (I don’t think?).

I haven’t written off the CCup this season but it’s way down on the league for me, so I really don’t mind what happens TBH.

If TJ isn’t available I’d have no issues, get back on the horse ASAP.

Win every game possible for me, kick the wires whilst their down . Every year is never a good time for the cup in some peoples opinion. I do hope we shake that opinion off now and go all out to get us into the next round of the cup , and who know where we may end up , but don’t try and we won’t know . We’re on a roll so keep the momentum going, and give the faithful something more than listening to the doom mongers who infect our great club and constantly put us down . In this coach I have faith ,I said it from word go ,and in this team we have the power and skill the worry every team ,so let’s stick our chest out show RL what we are about ,instead of been everyone perennial favourite for the drop from pundits to fans alike ,let’s throw those shackles off once and for all starting with another thumping of the wires in the challenge cup

Normally I agree but this year the league for me is everything and we just can’t be distracted. I reckon as many as six teams could be scrapping it out for the bottom spot. I’d rather us be one of those least likely to be dragged in.

So just this once I’d be disappointed but sort of ok with us exiting early, which to be fair we usually do anyway.

The only option for me is to create a mid week team for want of a better description. I know it breaks all the rules and if it actually worked could be problematic later on it might be worth a pop. If nothing else it allows fringe players the chance to really make a mark.

Hardly dreadful and unlikely to win but great experience under no real expectations. At the same time rest a lot of key players whilst giving game time to some important returnees.

Agree. A chance of Wembley/Tottenham would be exciting. Forty three years since we last went, I haven't got another forty three years left (unless I live to 110) so it's got to be soon if ever.

Assuming Salford don't mind Escare being cup tied, I'd like to see him play at full back next week he's done nothing wrong and deserves another chance, save Max for the following week.
Hood took a big knock and I don't think it will do any harm to have a week off, enough cover there.
Other than that a bit of tinkering here and there by Willie and his team and we seem good to go.

Well, I'm a bit of both really.
Play the best team we have but give the knocks a week off, don't want to see experimental games really or changes to a winning formula, but lets not flog the knocks either.
