| Just a fun thread for Christmas.
Things that make you wonder what's wrong with the world or certain things in it.
1: I have two mongrel dogs, and occasionally I look after my neighbour's dog. They are not fussy creatures, one constantly tries to eat chicken poop! But they will not eat those seafood sticks, which makes you wonder what the hell is in them.
2: I think the film Love actually is one of the worst films ever made, the people in it are narcissistic middle-class tools with the morals of alley cats. It's nothing to do with love or Christmas, it's just awful. There is one character who's only buried his young wife six weeks previously and he's already on the hunt! Don't wallow in grief I agree but six weeks!!! Yet loads of people seem to love this abomination so clearly, I'm the one out of step.

| Okay one from me then - living near the Asda we use it like some would a local shop so consequently go in there most days and what really annoys me is when I see items from one part of the store that have been dumped in another part of the store, as we frequently see items of clothing still on their coat-hangers just dumped in say the grocery section or hanging from a shelf...why, because the morons that put them there can't be bothered to walk 30 seconds back to the clothing department and put them back where they came from in the first place. What is wrong with these people ????

| Trying to avoid the advert for verisure alarm or any relating to aftershave or perfume which get more abstract every year.
The one thing I do enjoy is Scrooge with Alister Sims which is a classic.

| Whilst not wanting to open up a whole mask or no mask debate, I often wonder if the people who wear them round their chin or under their nose ever look at the people wearing them 'properly' and think, "Is it me?"

| Dog owners who quite rightly pick their dogs mess in a bag and then leave it hanging on a branch. I'm told it's done so it can be collected later so why do some forget it. Lazy bar stewards !!

| Cyclist who :-
1. Ride on the pedestrian paths.
2. Ride anywhere after dark without lights on.
3. Travel at great speed around country walks expecting walkers to hear them coming and then step to one side. Walton Colliery Nature Park, Anglers Country Park and Pugneys being three lovely walks that can regularly be ruined by these lunatics.

I used to work in a supermarket and one job on a night stocking was to right those items that had taken a wander around the store , even frozen good that had stopped being frozen and therefore waste

True, I never noticed that but I’d probably switched off by then, unlike the alarm that probably goes off 20 times a day.

You mean road maggots?
The problem with cycling for me is simple. The majority of roads were built to allow the rapid movement of goods and people using the horseless carriage. That is their purpose. They were not built for spandex clad posers to treat as their personal play things.
I get all the arguments in favour. So pay a separate bike tax that will enable councils to build cycle path. Then stick to those path instead of riding around poorly lit, narrow and winding country lanes where they are a danger to all, themselves included.
I was ok with cyclists until the Wiggins clones appeared with all the gear but none of the talent. What is it about a certain type of man who feels the need to inflict his lifestyle onto others?
