The firm may be in Cas but that doesn’t make it a Cas firm but I get your point.

You’d have to be pretty blinkered even for a Cas fan to take it that far but I’m sure there are some.

It's always been a dilemma for me whether to support businesses that support RL in general or boycott them unless it's Wakefield. At work I would never use nor recommend visiting tipper drivers to use Mend-a-hose for example.

If like me you have a fish supper once a month your probably ok with beef dripping but more often I get the point.

As it has a huge regular clientele I get why they did it, it works on many levels but it still don’t taste as good imho.

on the odd occasions when we do our own roast tatties I learned the other day that beef dripping reaches a higher temperature so will be looking to get a jar for xmas dinner to get that crispy taste on the roasties, normally we par boil then rough them up in a pan or cullinder to fluff them up this time I'm going to sprinkle a little ground cumin over the top them
