Fair play to Carter & Minnards for hosting the session tonight. Not the easiest thing to do with the team performing like it is but some context behind it - such as 10 players stood down today and the affect on being able to coach or train. I’m not sure Chester is the man for the job but added some reality of how hard it must be. Good to hear plans in place for signing a big money half back next year and taking to 6/7 possibles including Sam Williams. All plans surround just completing this year and interesting to hear to fulfil the Sky contract there must be 70 live games shown - at 54 at the moment. Poching already adding value but starts role 1st Nov and very respected by all players & interviewed twice before for head coach role. Plans still ongoing for stadium but scaled down a bit. We’ve applied for some of the RFL government Loan and been accepted but may not use it. Hoping to hold at least 1 game at bv this year but will be behind closed doors.

Agree with this post i think with injuries and covid its had a real detrimental effect on our morale and a good man manager like john kear would be ideal to help chester out and help improve our team but personally i dont see chester being the man guiding us forward next year but lets just get this year over and done with take it on the chin and move on

Its a very useful platform. The future of the club is at the forefront of my thinking and there were some very realistic and sobering thoughts from MC & JM on the issue.

Advise anyone who is feeling disgruntled with the club to give it a go next time out, seemed to me they were willing to answer any questions to an open audience.

Just a pity I had no idea the zoom meeting was being done.

I think I've been guilty, like many, of getting so involved with the results since post lockdown. We had our expectations raised in 2018 and lady luck plus covid 19 has well and truly deserted us, yet again. I think the club would do well to post something about players lost on their page and Facebook etc. I get the information watching sky. I think fans get frustrated thinking the team is of Choice, when actually at the moment it's anything but.
One thing I'm delighted about. This is the only reliable owner and management I've witnessed in 50 years of watching Wakefield Trinity. I am relieved that the foundations are good

Having watched the st helens match tonight, I am reminded of a conversation with Chris Chester's dad in the queue for a beer not long after he joined us. He had a very similar run of injuries and misfortune. Tonight, we had enough of our influential players on the park and it worked. I felt Hull kr were Harsh with him. I'm inclined to think we might be in danger of falling into that trap through circumstances
