I would imagine that I'm not the only one by a long way, but I'm beginning to feel very much like I did on the eve oh the Bradford Bulls MPG. My nerves are very much on edge and just hoping that our contingency plans of either, or both of HKR and Shudds losing would back us up if the unthinkable defeat by London occurs. Obviously it would be better to see Trinity put on a "Performance of the season, and do the job ourselves.
Having read some time ago of just how MC felt before that Bradford play off I wonder just what he's thinking now.

This season, the club up to only a few weeks ago were saying they were a top 5 side and not in a relegation battle. This lack of acceptance of the situation still has me much more concerned

The MPG versus Bradford had been a given for months. We knew it was coming, and were prepared for it.

The importance of tomorrow night's game feels like a situation we've sleepwalked into.

Nobody has sleepwalked anywhere, we've known we needed a bit more to be certain of safety for half a season ffsake.
This board might twitter on about a few close games earlier in the season that would have put us out of this situation, but yawl know we'd be out of that situation and doubtless be tering on about sacking Chezzy, bagging players all over the gaff and dooming the crap out the team for not making the 5.

There is...no end to this self deprecating rubbish...its pathetic.

Its really simple, half the team has been injured and we haven't been able to adequately negate all its effects.

You can't discount the individual failings of players or staff, but by far the biggest factor is our financial ability to bridge 10 potholes in a row.

The club has sleepwalker into it. Until very recently, they were still saying in interviews that they weren't concerned and were still a top 5 side. The club has failed to manage the expectations it set itself, and seems to have been unable to adjust those to line up with reality

Managing expectations has nothing to do with this.
While top 5 was mathematically possible I'd still want them to go for it.

No matter what the expectation they were trying to win games.
