You're right, of course, the ref didn't cost us the game we did.
But whilst there will always be people who will criticise refs as a default, it shouldn't undermine the ability/right to say when refs are getting process wrong and seek improvement.
Too many aspects in refereeing are below par.
And to be really clear, the game, especially the PTB, could improve drastically and immediately, if players cut the rubbish and got on with the game - coaches & players can take the pressure off refs and make the game better for all of us.
I won't hold my breath...
