| I noticed Dewsbury still have a few ex Wakefield players in their team
Morton is full back (glad to see he is still going)
Sykes is 6 (amazed he is still going but was always fitter than the average player and has skills that will show up in the lower league
Kuke Walshaw is at 11
Kyle Trout at 13.
Have we got others around the championship?

| Matty Wildie at Bradford in 2019, watched him a few times for Fev over the last few seasons and always seems to play well, been given the no.9 shirt for Bradford next season.
James Davey at Batley - Likewise, solid performer at Championship level.
Danny Cowling at Batley - Not seen much of him since he left Wakefield but was very promising in his early career, I think he turned down a full time offer with us to concentrate on his studies?
Russell Spiers at Doncaster

| Brad day gone to featherstone this season I think. He came through the u19s and left to go to cas when he became overage
Josh hardcastle also at Fev came through our academy whilst there were u20's in 2012, leaving at the end of the year
Liam Kay is at toronto
Sam Doherty at doncaster, jack walton, cam leeming were both at hunslet last year. They all left the u19s when they became over age and werent offered pro deals. Just seen Cam Leeming has joined Dewsbury and given number 3 this season

I always thought Danny had a good chance of making it. He's a teacher now as well as P/T RL player so has done well for himself.

Always remember Frances Meli breaking the line down at Belle Vue in a game we won by 1 point, thought for sure he was gone and we’d lost but out of nowhere Danny made the tackle; was outstanding!

He may well of done but the major reason was that I don't think Agar rated him enough to up the offer Agars loss imh but that's how it goes. It's worth remembering that Agar tried to play Wallshaw as a prop and virtually destroyed him as a player, terrible days.

Yep, Walshaw was another one that showed all the potential to be a good SL player but as you say was ruined by Agar limiting his opportunity in the first team and playing him out of position.
Agar did strangely seem to have an obsession with Kyle Trout, giving him chance after chance in the second row when his performances were below par, then awarded him with a long term deal which was apparently way above his worth.
Listening to an Isaac John interview recently really shows Agar in not a very good light, if the face fits and all that it seemed.

There is another side to the Isaac John story. Agar wasn't to blame there. The player didn't have the right attitude to be even an average player. His talent far exceeded that attitude unfortunately.
I liked Cowling and Walshaw but it's not like others were snapping our hands off.
Cowling was financial I guess. Walshaw was in a tough position unfortunately.
