I don`t think Salford have been a terrible side this year but the introduction of Jackson Hastings has instantly made them look twice the side they were previously. Lui is a great player, but Hastings definitely pulls the strings in that side - Kind of makes it seem a myth that a halfback needs that initial settling period into a side when you see how he and his teams performances have turned around since he has been over here.

Which ever club he ends up with next year will have themselves a great half.

Salford also brought in a hooker that Hastings has played with previously, so they already had that understanding between 2 key positions.
