I would just like to congratulate everyone involved at Wakefield Trinity R.L.F.C. for achieving our best start to a "top flight" season - since 1945/6.

I know we've won jack, but it's been a fantastic twelve months being a Wakey fan.(We are coming from a low base after all)

Personally I believe this to be the best team we've had since the early eighties, & whilst I don't tend to get too excited these days, I do feel a little giddy!

What a great stat! Everyone at Belle Vue should be proud of achieving this. I also think every win is another knock on the Council office door, saying we are still here, you need to do something about the stadium you promised for the City. Every 2 points and every published league table with us in the top 4 points a big finger at those not delivering on promises

It has been a fantastic start to the season definately, and also still a pretty much squad to pick from, with no major injury worries, which if we are in that same position, come the Easter fixtures, it is a good start in all ways. Well done all concerned.

I didn't realise that it was so long since that we had won the first 4 games of the season, even beating the starts we had in the glory days of the 60's.

Yep, when you consider just how bad we were it's been a remarkable turnaround, everyone should be congratulated for their efforts. Like you say we haven't won anything yet, but there is just a feeling that we are actually building towards something special, and it's hopefully not just a couple of decent seasons then back to type. If you think back where Warrington were in 2009 I think it was, and within a couple of seasons they were regular top 4 and Wembley winners, so here's hoping......a lot of hard work ahead though, starting on Sunday, with I suppose our biggest test so far.

Remind me again, what is it 7 wins in a row is Chester's best run with Wakey? Can we beat that for this run? (fingers crossed).

I think it was 6 from 7, or 7 from 8.
