Super League clubs have agreed there will be no major change to the League for 2018 season, but there will be a review at end of that season for the following 2019 year. Wonder what will be on their minds by then. Also what are SKY TV thinking regards any changes, any thoughts?

Apparently they are looking at starting evening kick offs a quarter of an hour earlier and only having derby games on Thursdays due to the low numbers and finishing after 10:00 if there are stoppages

Or maybe seeing Toronto's progress next year prior to adfing them into SL the following year with New York, regardless of how well they do next year.

Apparently some influence by SKY re the game times and the RFL the Thursday games but like you I can't see how this will improve attendances. More Sunday afternoons would be my ideal solution as shifts means any evening game is a bit of a lottery for me

I actually mentioned the same thing Cross Lane, on a different thread earlier in the week, called New York.

I read an article in RLW a few months back, stating how that the interest was growing in the sport in the Americas, right down to Central and South America.

To me it would make sense, and with a lot of money invested in sport over there, if it took off, could give the game a real shot in the arm

If they want to do something's about post 10pm for finishes then put a 1 minute cap on the video ref.

The 745 kick off will be driven by Sky so the can wrap up coverage earlier.

The very fact that they have agreed to keep it for 1 more season tells you everything you need to know.
Things will definitely change to try and accommodate Toronto and Toulouse, it's just a case of when.

It really hacks me off that our sport does things on the sly, without any consultation with the fans.
It's crazy to have the new structure IF we are serious about expanding the game and it was brought in knowing that Toronto & Toulouse we going to have a tilt at SL.
If there isnt an agreement on expanding SL, clubs like Trinity will probably be shown the exit.
