| Going into the game last night I knew that we had missed Millers presence in the team, but just how much did last night show it?! Not only is he our number one threat with ball in hand, I think that partnership of Finn and Miller just flows right when we are shifting the ball - Finn definitely seems a lot more comfortable with Miller on the field than he does Williams and we look a better team.
Right from the off he looked a threat, faded and didn't see him as much towards the end but obviously hasn't played in a long time so id put that down to match fitness. Think he pushed Wood close for MOTM for me last night. With Randell still to come in I really cant see a spot for Williams in our 17, bar injury of course.

| Personally think Williams is a little under-rated, his try assists tally speaks for itself really. Depending on wages I would probably offer him another year, we need cover at half-back and even though we said this last year Finny is getting on and may not be able to feature as much next season.
I think a Milky and Williams half-back partnership could be as good as Milky and Finn, given a little time.

| Sometimes an incoming player can take a while o settle in with performances improving greatly in the second season. I'm not sure what plans either Williams or the club have in mind for next season but I don't think Williams would relish an understudy tag.

| Milky could have worn his dinner suit last night he was way too hot for Leeds. A great 70 minutes but its team game and there were some top performances last night I don't think we showed any weaknesses, the game management and kicking was first class.

| Miller was outstanding last night - he's been a big miss, and him and Finn are so contrasting in styles, they really complement each other.
It was interesting to hear the commentary team so surprised at how he puts himself about in defence - we've always known that; for a little fella, he hits really hard and doesn't seem especially interested in his own safety - that shot to dislodge the ball and gift Ashurst with the easiest try of his career was a cracker.
Does anyone know how long he's contracted to us for?

| Yes Miller played really well last night and I think the last few games it has really shown that he has been missed.
Didnt think he would start to be honest. I broke my leg 3 years ago, and although you regain fitness, it takes time to regain full fitness
I also think that long term a Milky and Williams partnership could work. I commented after the Saints game as to how Williams got surrounded by Saints players when he had the ball. That to me is an indicator of how much the opposition has respect for his game
I am also in agreement that Finn may well struggle to play week in week out next year.
He has done exactly that this year, and in the last few weeks I have been critical of Finn. His performances up to last night looked like those of a jaded player.
Most teams in super league have more than two halves, to not only provide cover but also competition. Class is permanent but form is only temporary

| When I said I cant see a spot for him Williams in the 17, I meant for the rest of this season, not going forward.
Not too sure why they would go out of there way to bring Randell in early to not play him and I think Finn and Miller partnership is the best one we have at this moment in time, that's not me slating Williams and saying he is no good, that's my opinion based on watching every game we have played this season and seeing that we are a better team when both are on the pitch together.

He did indeed
We have them both for another 2 years
Miller was absolute class last night, his ability to speeed the plays up is incredible
I also thought he looked like a man who was desperate to get back on the pitch to help his team m8s
Every one played well last night but miller was exceptional

There are many kinds of breaks as I've just found out. My lad has just had a Spiral Fracture in his ankle and that's him pretty much bed bound for eight weeks and many month rehab and he's had to have it pinned. Had it broken or been a straight fracture then nothing like that time.
Also Miller will get the kind of intensive care your average NHS patient can only dream of - not moaning about it but it's true.
Finally maybe Miller is one of those rear beasts who heal well, good luct to the lad if he is
Also intrigued why people think Finn will struggle. His game is already based on being almost permanently walking He's solidly built and he plays with his brain, he'll just get better - I can see him playing another two seasons easily if he avoids any serious injury - lets be honest he never had any pace or agility to lose.

| I agree too
I can see Finn going another two years.
It's his brain we need and it would cost a fortune to replace.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |

| I have to post this. Up until late last season 2016 I had my doubts that Miller would make the grade. He looked many a time to be unsure of himself, even when presented with space in front of him he would panic and jink like a headless chicken.
That said he has come on and looking like a much more accomplished half back to the point where my opinion of him has changed drastically. He is exploiting defences with his speed and seems much more sure if himself when in space or defences lapse in front of him. His decision making has come on leaps and bounds. Passing when he needs to and running it in at the right times when something's on. I didn't think he had muck of a kicking game until last night. Those kicks he put up to Briscoe were on the dot and allowed a good chance forcing pressure and repeat sets.
Been impressed with how he's developing his game this season. Good on him.
It's got to be Miller and Finn from now on but I don't want to discredit Williams input this year. He's had a few off games, a few good ones but overall been solid and put in a lot of try assists to help us where we are in the league too. Williams should be proud of his contribution this year.

Kirmond has given us great service but should no longer be required to play long or full 80 stints. He was solid yesterday in 2 x 20 minute stints and was used how we should be using him moving forwards. He's still a solid player but more effective in stints these days.
