| With five, maybe seven matches left (hopefully) it is probably time to start thinking about who has been the fans' player of the season. It has been a very memorable and exceptional year with no single player standing out head and shoulders above the rest. So who would you choose?
For me, due to consistency of performance my choices would be:
1. Arona
2. Fifita (not Fafita because no such player exists)
3. Hirst
I would then struggle to pick between Ashurst and Finn for 4th and 5th place.
It is really tough this year because many players are worthy contenders.

| Could easily add MCB and BJB to that list but Big Dave for me, been a massive signing for us, just hope we can convince to see his days out here.

| Can't dispute the positive effect Big Dave has across the team and supporters. How good it was to see him nimbly warming up last night with no knee strapping.
Having said that, Arona has been massive all season and would get my vote without hesitation.

| Very tough choice and I would include Woody as someone well up there.

| I think Wood has been our best player over the full season.
Arona is super consistent and Fifita when he's on song, is unplayable.
Dont think Hirst is player of the season as he was making too many errors earlier in the season but, he's been immense in the last couple of games and he could really go on to big things in SL.
Also, Hadley deserves massive credit.
For a player on loan, he has been magnificent and he's one of the best defensive players we've had for a long time.

| Between Arona and Ashurst for me. Arona has had an awesome season. Ashurst has been Mr consistent and is massively underrated.

| I'd include Woody too.
Only player to play every game and has visibly improved his game.
Fifita supporters and players player I'm sure.

I'd have the same two choices, and would also go for Ashurst - he's an absolutely solid player for 80 minutes every game, and never puts a foot wrong; one of our best signings in recent years.

| Ashurst for me. Solid in both attack and defence.
Seems to be getting over the injury problems he had in his first year with us.
Arona and Fifita would not be far behind though

| 1. Fifita - such pride in his shirt and brilliant with the young fans in particular
2. Ashurst - what a workhorse. 100% effort every game
3. Hirst - stepping up to SL and improving week on week
What a game last night, can't stop smiling

| Reckon it will be something along the lines of:
Supporters POTY - Fifita
Players POTY - Arona/Ashurst
Coaches POTY - Finn

| Depends what you are looking for.
For consistancy and effort - in other words professionalism then for me, Arona, Ashurst, Finn, Hadley, Huby and Wood in no particular order.
For magic and skill then, BJB, MCB, Toupu, Miller, Fifita and Grix.
Massve improvers, Hirst, Lyne, Arundal, Anakin, and of late England. The whole team really.
Enigma's, Williams he's had his moments but just not enough - the difference between him and Miller was just to obvious and with Randall probably due on the bench I'm guessing that unless there is an injury that's it. Walker also, but you can't condone his foolish behaviour.
Unlucky - The wingers have had great service this year and for me TJ is still the best, what a shame. Ditto Batchelor who was really shaping up. Poor old Crowther hasn't had a look in, with Batchelor stealing it early doors and Hadley being so damned good. Jowitt is the real elephant in the room, he has his fans but what can you say, the Coaches have been proved right time and time again with Grix - that one really needs putting to bed now - Grix is knocking on, Jowitts time will come.

| For consistency its got to be Woody for me - 80 mins most games and the traffic sent to him each game by other teams forwards is enormous but he never flinches and comes back with some very good go forward & distribution.

| Arona for me.
Don't recall him having a bad game all season, even at Huddersfield and always can be relied on.

Him and Johnstone were probably the only ones who played well at Headingley as well.
