What are people's thoughts on the training squad announced today, part of me is glad none of our players are selected as they're less likely to get injured, but on the flip side I'd certainly say a couple are worthy of recognition, especially ahead of some the names selected below. BJB and Ashurst for me have been stand outs all year and would have been worthy of a place.

BJB a bit unlucky not to be selected. Not sure why players with long term injuries are in that squad. By all means draft them in when their fit.

TBF to Salford their main standout players are foreign. Would pick O'Brien in front of Lomax possibly.

Not sure what Cooper is doing in there. They other Warrington players did ok for England versus Samoa.

I don't suppose if ever questioned they would answer why a certain individual has been picked, but for me half of them have a ? over them for one reason or another. You do have to have a nucleus, a core I suppose, but it hardly reflects current form does it?! Like has been said, BJB & Ashurst are very unlucky not to be in, maybe Johnstone would have squeezed in if fit. Fair point also about Salford's leading lights being mainly foreign as to why none of theirs, but all those Warrington 'stars' is just a joke.

Ashurst, Lyne, Arundel, BJB should be in place of McGillvary, Currie, Brown and Lomax. Joke.

To be honest I look at the squad and question if Bennett has even bothered to watch super league. O'Brien at Salford has been playing well, names from us already mentioned, Jamie Shaul, Danny Houghton.

Stuff 'em! Players like Roby, Farrell and Hall getting in on their past reputations. Personally give me club rugby over international any day. We could have put together a competitive side from Trinity, Cas Hull and Salford current squads.

BJB must be sick as a dog at not getting recognised. I agree ashurst also should be in that team over Farrell on form.

Hang on, you bag our players week in week out yet now you think four of them should be in the England squad? Make your mind up.

BJB should be in there for Makinson and someone else in for Lomax but it's fine other than that.
