Do i remember dennis betts saying how teams should,nt be allowed to sign players at the back end of the season,when we signed a few players in 2015

No , also worth noting that its not the back end of the season and to be fair to Widnes they have had the mother of all injury crisies this season , they have taken it on the chin and just got on with it, don't remember them bleating like Saints and Leeds

What I don't understand is, if he had mental health issues at Cas, Salford and Leigh, how will moving to Widnes help. The issues don't go away just because he's moved.
Seems to me the bloke needs to walk away from the game and get the help he so obviously needs. His physical and mental health is far more important than another couple of years contract.

This. According to a Cas fan moving out of the area would do him some good. How? He's been out of the area for a couple of years, still got into trouble, and I'm pretty sure alcohol is easily as accessible in Widnes as it is in Cas. |

I agree here to a point Vasty.
People tend to use things like this too easily as an excuse these days.
I have an old school mate who is suffering. He doesnt go round beating folk up etc.
Wonder if anyone has thought of the mental issues are of those he has hurt.
A victim of an assault can suffer issues afterwards and can take a long time to heal

No most have morality issues, they don't deserve letting off that lightly.
You can't help being mentally ill, being a decent person however is generally a matter of choice.
So yes shot down in flames imho.  |
