| Just wondering what people thought about the ground today. I thought it was tidy, easy to get to and planty of potential to expand. Also a gate of 1500 which I think would have not been improved upon if we had staged the game at Belle Vue.
I would have no problem if we played there better than the dump we are in at the moment.

| I love the Dewsbury ground, always have. As a potential new (temporary) site we could do a lot worse than relocate there

| More than happy with it as a temporary solution but current capacity a problem when the better supported teams visit.

Was it me or did anyone else think that there was more than 1500 . Apart from that nice ground with, like someone as suggested, room to expand.

| Great little ground and have to say pretty much most of it is better than BV. Wouldnt bother me if we had a to play there
for a season or 2.

Agreed on both points.
We thought over 2000 there today and if the place holds 6000, I dont know where the rest would fit.
The pitch is short though (same as Cas ?) but, it's a tidy ground and could probably be expanded more easily than starting from scratch at BV.
Maybe "the flats would go at the opposite end to the scoreboard ?

I hadn't realised just how close to Wakefield it actually is - about 200 meters.
I reckon my temporary/modular solutions could be used to upgrade it which would in turn give us a stake in the ground.

That's why I never understood when people complained it was too far away, it's barely outside the city limits and i think it's closer to Ossett than Dewsbury.

| Anyhow regardless of what I think I fully expect Trinity to be playing out of Dewsbury in 2018 and I will be there to watch them.

| If my memory serves me right, the boundary was moved about 20+ years ago and the old boundary would have placed a Ram Stadium within the Wakefield District.
Can anyone confirm or correct

I like the idea of those Vastman - when can you start putting them up?

Not ideal but count me in for as long as it takes. The club that counts!
