Just a quick message to all my fellow Wakey fans posting on here.

There has been some moronic postings on the Leigh board dragging our name through the dirt.

I think they are new and glory seeking.

Dont get dragged into the conversation.

I rarely post and yes I know it's their forum but I was looking because I'm interested in the ongoing regarding rocky. But the poster in question in my opinion did step over the line and in the end is an embarrassment for the 'real' Leigh supporters

Yes I was interested in the Rocky Hampshire post as he is a local lad and the family I believe are Wakefield Supporters.

We are a club who in the past couple of years have blooded several young players of our own and a lot of Wakefield fans including myself have wanted this lad in our side.

Especially with the case that his natural position is half back and this is a position we have been trying to recruit in which we now have anyway.

Posting on any other forum can be contentious , especially Leigh.
Although, generally speaking, they have been more subdued this season, they will all be full of themselves, just as some Trinity fans would be in their position.
God help us all if they actually win a few games next season but, if they dont, it will all go quiet again.

Best advice is look but, dont touch.

Hello Wakey fans .....

My best advice (as if it were needed), come over, have a look around, chip in if you feel you want to, take what you like & leave what you don't.

The vast majority on the Leigh board welcome the views of fans of all clubs, whether that be Hunslet or Hull, Wigan or Wakey.

I don't like to be two faced so I will tell it straight, the only Wakefield side I ever really liked was John Kears & the Koukidas era, that final game when Kear coached you to a famous win will live long in my memory.
I do have my comedy name for Wakefield but I don't hate any club *dislike Wigan & Widnes with a passion but only through rivalry*.

I digress.

While most of us will defend the club we love vehemently, most at least recognise the opinions of others. We do have some who will take things way too far, never claimed to be an angel myself & we seem to attract the odd madman.

Please feel free to come over anytime, personally I would welcome your thoughts on Ryan or any of our signings or general RL banter.

Before I leave you in relative peace, I met two WTW fans in The Centurion pub after the Leigh v Giants game, nice pleasant guys who just love RL & travelled for a great game, if they are any of your boys then thanks for travelling over in good RL spirit.

It amazes me why any one would visit other sites and give their views , it's bad enough on our own site with our own so called fans. I posted on the Cougars site after Danny's sad departure and that's as far as I would go, why you give these nutters fuel is beyond me. I can't bear them coming on here with their cheap shots.

I tend to think it's their board so their rules.
You have to live with it.
Their mods have a tough job.

I'm always tougher on visitors that think it's funny to try and wind Wakefield fans up. If you go on other sites you have to accept your a visitor. Rightly or not.

I'm with you on that, apart from the odd post on the VT, I can't be d posting on any other clubs forums.

Tbf to EW, I read what he put & tbh it looks like he unsuspectingly responded to a wum post by new poster called RedWhiteBlueGent who's made 3 posts, all rubbish and defo not a Trinity fan. Dude claimed he'd signed for Leigh and was getting loaned to us LOL.That's all it took before a Leigh fan that had just joined the forum turned the thread to crap, even some of the more long standing Leigh fans thought he was a cock.

TBH, I often visit other clubs to see what other rumours are going about, especially this time of year when there is player movement, but rarely post anything.
