Its going to be difficult to lut out a competitive team . Its obvious some players like Kirmond played on Saturday when they wouldnt have been risked for a league game. Its important to aim for 6th place but not at the expenses of making injuries worse .A difficult balancing act for CC . As far as I'm aware the bottom club gets nothing with the next off bottom getting £25,000 and the rest getting increments of £25,000 so its hardly meaningless for a club in our position. Would be great to get a financial reward for the lads hard work.

These 7 games are far from meaningless and I think this Wigan side can be got at. Pretty woeful going forward without George Williams being involved currently. Blew our big chance to win there a few weeks back but no reason why a game can't be made of this one.

Heard from Chester post match interview that unlikely anyone coming back from injury for this weeks game....think would have to look at Bradley Moules and Anthony Walker bolstering the pack if available...

No they already knew he needed an operation but held it off.but now we don't have much to play for he will have it done now ready for pre season

He carried the injury into the game but injured it further during the second half. Now needs an operation to rectify it.
