A great win for the lads v Catalan but we have to get smart at play the balls. We gave away 7 penalties fir laying on. We cannot afford to do that against Warrington who will have a much smarter side.Also something has to be done about the stupid rule where a player plays the ball into an opponent who can't get out of the way therefore earning a penalty. This is tantamount to cheating and needs amending. Otherwise a good day for the TRIN.

There were a couple of silly ones but we also gave penalties away when they got an extra set and actually gave them nothing more but gave us time to regroup.

The biggest concern for me was switching off at the restart not once not twice but three times.

We have just won in France , I believe only the third team to do so this season and people still cannot savour the victory and have to 'nitpick'.6th in league, and on cup semi. Come on congratulate your team and suspend the over analysis of team and individuals.

Well said old boy. Just one other thing and please don't accuse me of nitpicking we are actually the fourth team to win out there, that's according to the Sky 2nd teamers anyway.

Sorry guys if it seemed like nitpicking it wasn't meant to be. I was really proud of the way the lads dug in. All I was saying was that if they cut out these silly penalties the wins would become easier and ease the burden on the tackling.

If we could get a decent completion rate in the semi we have every chance i reckon.

The heat probably had a lot to do with it, I wouldn't want to get up quickly after being in a big tackle, and staring into the sun to catch probably had a lot to do with dropping the ball

Just got back after a fantastic weekend in Perpignan.
To get a win over there in temperatures of 30 degrees was unbelievable, especially with Simon limping off after a few minutes.
Plenty of dumb play in the first half, giving penalties and possession away (which in that heat is the last thing any team should be doing.
BUT, to come out on top was an absolutely top effort from every player.
The guts and desire and willingness to defend was terrific.
If we ever learn how to control possession we will beat anyone.

I wouldnt call it nitpicking more like constructive criticism and personally I dont think that there is anything wrong in it.

As simeone said it could have made easier work forvthevtwo points.

Look at the bigger picture. SL is si tight nowadays that if we did cut out these silly mistakes anf penalties then there is no reason why we cant become top 4 material
