| It's been mentioned on a couple of other threads but I think it deserves one of its own.
The reintroduction of this guy has really upset what was a cracking set of backs. We really need to get Arundell back along side Johnstone.

| Obviously don't see as much of him as you guys but he strikes me as more of a winger than a centre, never looks like a threat to pass and put someone away.

| Include Reece Lynne in that criticism.
Our most creative centres have been Arundel and Hall.
They are the pair that have been the making of Johnstone which allowed Jowitt to link up so effectively.
I am sick of those fans who continually criticise Hall over his defence.
Well, he didn't play last night so who gets the blame for the shocking performance last night.
For me, we must play Hall and Arundel in the centres for the cup game at Huddersfield. To win a game requires us to outscore our opponents which is more important than just having a decent defence. Our points against statistic prove that defence is our killer heel and that our attack has won us the tight matches.
I was really down after last nights match, we performed diabolically and did not have a brain to master the conditions. I said to my brother at the kick off that I would have returned the ball straight into their half as it would be slippery and dangerous to play in our own half. After conceding the first try we failed to learn that lesson and Leeds played an outstanding tactical game including taking 2 points at every available opportunity.
As for the referee, James Child was a joke. The result was an overwhelming amount of possession for Leeds and Wakefield players showing frustration and heads dropping. That said we must improve our discipline and continue to play with 13 men on the field.
Feeling better now that I've got that off my chest so it's off to town for me as I have 2 tickets to buy for an important date in Huddersfield on Thursday.

| Signs that Chester's 'honeymoon' period is over. All the experts can already coach better and pick a better team. Wasn't it good centre play by Lynne that put BJB in? Lynne a player picked consistently by Agar, Webster, Smith and now Chester all of whom are obviously wrong in their assessment of the lad.

It was actually a long pass by Moore that gave Lynne the space. He didn't have the speed to beat burrow but just got the ball away in the tackle.

| Yep he got the ball away instead of 'dying' with it which some criticise him for.

| Reece Lyne does ok in the right centre with BJB and that combination works fairly well, but personally I would still favour Hall because he is more creative and dangerous in attack.

| Just for for accuracy , it was Finn who looped out the long pass in the build up to the BJB try , not Moore.

| I would get Joe back in centre at least Tom will get some ball and give Tupou a shot in 2nd row coming on some crash balls a bit like Walton there is no doubt he is a handful to tackle and think coming off the bench will create an impact

I agree that he looks more suited to SR, but as with centre I think there are a lot of players I would pick ahead of him there too. For me he is a decent squad player because he seems versatile but picking from a full squad he would be nowhere near my first choice 17.

| Bill is a bit of an enigma in many ways for me. He makes more metres and is harder to put down in the take than any of our other backs and his defence is also good.
But on the other hand he just seems to lack that final pass to put his winger away which is probably the reason why he is playing for us rather than a top team.
In theory we could play him on the wing and he could be in a similar mould of vainokolo or hall but on the couple of occasions he has played there for us he has not looked as comfortable as he does in the centres.
So to sumerise for me bill needs to be in the team somewhere and it probably is centre but I would be interested to see if he could possibly play 2nd row where miller or Finn could give him some crash ball.

| its a bit of a myth that he makes more metres than the rest of the backs. Stats say Hall has made far more, plus scores more trys and more try assists.

Hall has played a few games at FB which always helps boost the metre stats as they do plenty of kick returns.
