I believe he deserves a special mention because of his recent performances in helping us to secure our recent victories. If you take today's game he scored two and helped set up one plus he played for well over 50 minutes with a leg injury.

With the arrival of Chester and getting the chance he has certainly grabbed it with both hands (pun not intended) and his confidence is sky high one of many playing well

Excellent by Hall when scoring but defence truly awful did not want to tackle Currie when running straight into him glad he's got.some confidence back but will need to.sort the defence out for sure

I thought the same and was glad when he was taken off........ HOWEVER from his interviews etc. it looks like he was injured but was playing on so that may explain it because there was no sign of defensive weakness early on.

He was good in attack and took his chances very well but his missed tackle on COX was the turning point in the flow of the game.

He is one of those that is always a gamble. He reads the game superbly and can come up with special plays (as we saw yesterday)
However he remains a liability in defence (imo), he just can't bend his back and make tackles when it matters.

It's a real paradox for Chester, we can't carry too many defensive passengers in the team, especially when we turn the ball over. Good teams will exploit this - Warrington were very effective when aiming at Finn and Hall in the second half.

I have a feeling when we have more players available, Chester could leave him out of the team. It's a real difficult one when he has come up with so many crucial plays

He really is a pacey lad and currently one of a few potential match winners.
I would also add that it was England slipping off Clarke that opened the temporary flood gates for Warrington.

We were dropping off tackles for much of the second half and it was our scramble defence that saved us on many occasions.
We still won though, a victory that very few thought was possible (even the most partisan Trin fans).

Hall will always be flawed, it's far to late to change that. However on his day he's a match winner and at least he's having a few these days. Also I suspect he's the sort of player who hides an injury which perhaps was what caused the issue yesterday but I don't know.

I think if we have any true ambitions for regular top 8 status, we can't accommodate these type of 'half players'. His defence is consistently truly aweful, which is a shame as he has a good air of hands and quite a bit of pace.

Hall looked to have picked up a knock after scoring his first try.
As for his defence, he's been at the club long enough for his team mates to give him a bit of cover and help when tackling someone the size of Cox.
Good player, worth another contract, as he can take games away from teams.

He said in an interview after the game that he'd picked up a dead leg in the act of scoring.

I love to see interceptions and think there is a genuine art to it but one of the main reasons certain players go for them is that they rather do that than tackle! Well done Craig yesterday

It's a high risk play - if you get it wrong, the ball is knocked on and the opposition get a repeat set near your line. Great to see when it comes off though.

Personally thought Liam Finn was superb in defence...Warrington clearly tried targeting him and getting their big strong forwards one on one with him...I thought at the game he was excellent in defence and the stats back that up...25 tackles with just 2 misses... and as I say a lot of those were forwards like Currie, Westwood, Westerman etc...all superb runners out wide...they even switched Cox over late on for a go and he stood firm!
