| The Hull Daily Mail has stated today that he has already re-signed for Hull FC next season. A lot of the fans are underwhelmed by this. It's a strange signing for us because we are overloaded in the backrow. There is talk that he may have been brought in to cover Houghton at Hooker. How's he been performing for you? would you be disappointed to seem him leave?

| Admittley he's been one of our best players this year. But that's not saying much. The past three years he's done nothing whatsoever. Not really a player to boost your chances of finishing higher up the league table.
He has his own fan club on here though and they will be along to say how the sun shines out of his backside.

| Agree with the above, he's stood out this year but that says more about the team than anything else. As a steady away running back rower he's been okay and will continue to be so. He's got an excellent attitude, rarely gets injured and is pretty consistent. As a pivot he's pretty much useless so if I was an FC fan I would be concerned if that's where Radford sees him fitting in.

Your first paragraph adequately summed up what quite a few on here believe, however why spoil your post with the last bit, just because they don't share your thoughts does not make you right and them automatically wrong, it's a forum for different opinions, you need to accept it without the insults.

| No great loss for me, not a bad player and not a great one. I don't personally think he has been one of our best players. He plays better at LF and tackles well around the middle but we have generally played him in the second row and he does not defend well out there.
several players could replace him without having a detrimental effect on the team, Simon,Annakin,Molloy,Crowther.
surprising signing for Hull ,but certainly not unexpected. Rumour been doing the rounds for ages.

| For me he is a loss but not irreplaceable.
Every team needs a Washbrook and I like him but there are others.
If Hull are playing him at hooker you will be disappointed.
His skills are tackling and running wide, with a quite a nice pass while running wide.
He isn't quick from dummy half and his pass from ptb is only adequate.
I'd keep him but not at all costs.
It surprised me that Smith started playing him off the bench but it seems to work ok.

| I will be sad to see him go. He has been one of our top performers this year with his best moment being the late try under the posts V Cas. Think he was key to the win at home to Hull FC too.
Earlier in the year we heard McShane and Washbrook to Hull and I was more upset about Washbrook than Chubby.

Agree.
Washbrook is an excellent professional and gives his best although not a worldbeater. He certainly deserves more credit than our resident experts are prepared to give him.

| Good player who doesn't let anyone down. Gets through a ton of work defensively and this year has looked more threatening with the ball when running out wide. A hooker though he is not in anything other than a stop gap measure.
