First and formost I hope you guys turn it around (coming from a Cas Fan) and I am sure you will stay up after the middle. 8's, just wanted to share my disappointed that after the game me and few friends attempted to gain entry to belle vue con club for a drink but we're turned away at the door with a very stern "no cas fans!" From a bloke on the door. Big shame, never experienced that in rugby league. I love how inclusive RL is and how fans can mix in our sport is amazing but that was a new one on me.

That sounds like bad form and bad luck. Most people seem to make it as far as the turnstiles before they get turned away

can you not see the implications of both sets of fans after a game at each others throats after a few beers, they don't have security as like in the cats bar where I stayed for one after the game, as for being turned away the bar behind the sticks at cas, away fans are not allowed to use it

Conny is a members club.

I doubt many Cas shirt wearing people are members.

You should, of course, simply ed out your membership card and walked in.

Their club, their choice who goes in.

Conny is exclusive to members or which ever Cas or Wakey fans they want in. Up to them.

Moral of the story? Don't debase yourself by trying to go in a con club in the first place

I had the same experience with the Con Club last year. Simple solution is to go to the Cats Bar for a couple of pints of Thwaites Smooth before the game. A lovely drink and at £2 per pint not as expensive.
