Thought Ryan was a bit of a stand out liability last night and thought Miller coped well with the bombs Campese kept hammering him with. If the guy with the beard was Anderson then him and Simon ran hard.

Time for Webster to go. I did not go last night but the team I have seen play in the last few games are not the team I want to watch.
WT has been a huge part of my life for 56 years but I'm losing interest big time.
I'm bored to death with the stadium issues, watching a team that has never got a grip of SL and must now be serious candidates for going out of existence. I for one, would not dream of travelling out of Wakefield to watch them.

Agree with that... Think you guys really have to get a good result against Leigh next week. Still think that any of the top four Championship sides will struggle in a mini league against super league clubs. Its ok to lift your game for one off cup games like Leigh have done ( albeit against a weakened Salford team) but week in week out different ball game...Imo. Much prefer my trip to Wakey than the concrete sports village. Keep the faith.

I don't think the players lack effort, I don't think they can find the effort for a number of reasons.

Foremost, they're not fit enough, they're not practiced enough in the systems both Attack and defence, they do not have any confidence, they do not have any belief, they have lost the ability to show resilience, they have no faith in the man talking to them (Webster).

All of that traces back to the Coach

The players, as a group of individuals and as a collective, NEED a new voice and a strong single minded Coach to get them back on track.

Watching the game from a Sydney hotel room on Friday morning I saw this... No desire to execute plays... Going through the motions in defence... The commentators criticised technique but I saw a lack of desire to perform technique... Genuinely a lack of interest in being in the game... Awful chasing the kick... One Man one out running... No support play, poor and slow passing...

A team that concedes 40 + points every week, cannot usually get into double figures, if they are trying we are worse than I thought. I have supported WT for far too long, but this season it is not only the team's performance but the feeling around the whole club.
