| So happy for the guy today scoring three tries, he always runs in hard and looks like it really matters to him. A trier who wants to win and deserves to be on the end of some superb attacking play, love it!

| All the backs looked good and full of running.
The rewards of having a pack that doesn't get bullied is paying off.

| Any of the "experts" on here still think Lyne isn't a centre (usually followed by "in a million years"icon_wink.gif - Bet Riley would beg to differ - a couple of great passé to the wingman from his centre.

| I wondered what had happened to the Lynne 'haters' too.
Would like to say I was one who saw the potential there and actually conversed with the guy telling him to ignore the 'knockers',stick at it and develop his game.
He listened as well, even though it might have been out of respect for my age!

| That was the best I've seen Riley play in a Wakey shirt - he was brilliant.
As for Lyne - he certainly seems to be growing into himself - he's still a bit hesitant at times, but the two passes to put Riley away were genuinely good centre play; hats off.

Well I would be surprised and hurt to be classed as a Lyne hater, but I only ever saw him as an out an out winger and said so on a couple of occasions', don't know if it's anything to do with Webbo taking over or just coincidence but Lyne has forced me to change my mind regarding his position as a centre and I for one am glad I got it wrong and willingly hold my hands' up, keep up the good work Reece.

| I’ll be honest I didn’t rate Lyne, I felt he was given chance after chance with little justification whilst other youngsters who IMO showed more promise were given scant opportunity. My big concern with him was not so much his physical ability but more his mental toughness. Under Agar he looked gutless and terrified whenever he received the ball or was facing a one on one tackle. Webster however seems to have brought out his aggressive side and made him realise he could probably put most of the opposition on their backside if he ran hard at them. I too felt he would be more suited to the wing birth, and to an extent I still do with the pace he has.
He, along with a few others, has/have looked much more comfortable playing the game in the last seven months. Another one who has upped his game since Agar departed and who I thought played particularly well yesterday is Washbrook. He was always a work horse but Agar tried to make him into a pivot, I think he plays better when he plays as a simple runner. He did show a bit of skill yesterday which nearly came off.
As for Riley, I'm pleased we have a winger who knows how to finish, the step inside for his final try was class. How many predecessors would have gone for the corner and got bundled into touch.

| With Lyne i wonder if it is the influence of Lee Gilmour that has helped him develop. Since he came to the club Reece has gone from looking like a winger playing out of position to a proper centre and Gilmour played in the threequarters plenty of times in successful teams like Bradford, Saints and Wigan, plus at international level. Could be coincidence but the improvement seems to marry up.

| The celebration for his 2nd try looks a little conspicuous. What in the world is he up to.

Definitely won't harm him at all to listen to what Gilmor has to say, which he obviously will be and pick up few of the finer details of play. I also think since he's built himself up physically, that's had a knock on effect of having more confidence mentally to back his own obvious abilities. Tbh though I always liked him and I could see his potential to be a really good player. I think some peeple forgot how young he was at times and he seemed to get the brunt at times because we let the likes of Kaye and Cowling go, which imo was totally unfair.
As for Riley, he's been great for us since he came over. You just have to give the lad an inch and he's over. Hopefully we continue to use the good handling skills we've shown thus far & spread the ball wide, putting our wingers into space for plenty of tries this season, which isn't something Wakefield's known for.
