Watching the SL highlights on look north, Danny McGuire's try for Leeds involved him running behind one of his team mates and obstructing a Hull KR player, Tim smith did this but the runner didnt look to obstruct anyone and Mr Hicks ruled out the try from the kick...

The bloke covering the game for Sky mentioned that McGuires try was controversial, as they were 14 points behind at the time.

Leeds are given an iffy (at the very very best) try? I won't have it! Never?!
I distinctly remember Ali himself scoring one of his 5 tries in an absurd drubbing against us on the 7th tackle. Also Ben Thaler if I remember rightly!
Think I've nearly forgiven Ali now.

I thought the same as you, McGuires wasn't borderline it was blatant and I couldn't believe it wasn't pulled back. |
