| Hock wouldn’t go to a whipping boy SL rabble club like Wakefield.
In his deluded mind he thinks he’s the bee’s knees.
Maybe he’ll get one final shot at redemption, buckle down & finally show the RL world what he’s capable of.
And maybe I’ll actually purchase a mobile phone .

| Why would he want away from Salford just to come to Wakey? We are unlikely to be able to match whatever deal he is on and we are no closer to challenging for honours than Salford so its not going to be us.

| Wouldn't touch him with the proverbial bargepole. We seem to be well covered in the second row anyway and I don't see him as the kind of player who would add to team spirit and harmony in the dressing room.

| He wants away from Salford and will end up at a club desperate enough to take a massive gamble. I don't see a top club having any kind of interest in him, and don't see any club matching the deal he may be on now. He will end up letting who ever may sign him down and probably cause problems along the way.

You say that he wouldn't go to a whipping boy rabble club like Wakefield but, he went to the wanabe club Salford
He is unplayable on his day but, you just know he will let you down.

| There must be something in the wind for the unexpected transfer request, a likely move to Oz might be back on, failing that maybe a move to Hull they seem in a desperate enough position for it to happen.

Maybe it was a dream of his to play for his hometown club (oh no that was Morley wasn't it?) or just maybe they were willing to pay him a vastly inflated amount (certainly a damn sight more than I hope we would pay).

| Gareth Hock = Guaranteed penalty machine
We're a club that tends to give players second chances and help them turn around their careers but Hock has had about 4 or 5 and just doesn't learn.

| Had the potential to be world class but more akin to the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz... 'If he only had a brain'.

| Agree with all the above, but could still see a top club giving him a chance. I could see Brown at Saints fancying him or maybe Anderson at Hudds? If not, maybe Dennis Betts will have him back at Widnes?
He wouldnt be my personal choice, but we are all a fickle bunch. Ben Cockayne is a prime example. If he did come, unless there was an early issue, he'd be a hero on the terraces within a month or so.

Pretty much agree with all that

| Given that by all accounts Salford won't listen to bids less of than 100K i doubt we'll be seeing in a Wakey shirt anytime soon.
