| Another inept performance from Silverwood. Aside from the howlers my main gripe was how he let Wigan lay on and slow the play down all night.

They get away with that all the time - O'Loughlin and Farrell are the main offenders, but the way they pile men in at the tackle then roll around and slow down the ruck is blatant cheating. Horrible mentality.

| Hull KR only have themselves to blame. Wigan tried as hard as they could to give the game away. Cockayne's rush in from the wing was very reminiscent of his days in a Wakey shirt, as was the subsequent try in the corner. Rovers can be thankfull that "Matty" (are blokes really called that these day's?)Smith is such a poor place kicker.

| Exactly what I said of Cockayne watching the game rush in and miss the tackle but how the hell silverwood and the TJ missed the Charnley knock on god knows.Slowing the play the ball down is one area we could improve on but if we did it like some sides do we would be walking backwards most of the time.

I think Fickle's post was taken out of context, robbed or not you would think that the poster would have wanted to discuss his annoyance with the ref on his own board unless he's posted it on every one else's as well, he's pushing against an open door on here though, we've had our share of his poor decisions' and most on here would agree with the OP except when we win

I can't agree - I thought KR did enough to win that and but for some very lax refereeing around the ruck and a missed knock-on, they would have done.
You're right about Cockayne though - he generally had a good game, but it seems he'll never resolve that tendency to rush in off his wing and leave a gap.

| In answer to the "Is this not a rugby forum", we tend to leave the discussion about other clubs games on those forums, but if you want to discuss it and can keep it on track I have no issue.
So to join in, I do agree that Wigan were given some freedom at play the ball that they possibly shouldn't have but ultimately, in the last seconds of the game, Hull KR game a penalty away for being off side at the scrum. Clever Wigan and Hull KR too keen.
They then had a 2 on 2 at the end and one of them seemed to go for the interception rather than taking the man. The try was the result.
Not an unfair result in the end as Wigan did enough even though it was late but certainly a point given away by Hull KR

| There was a lot going on but the little knock on by Charnley ultimately was the game breaker, why did Silverwood not go to the big screen?

Was it not on play before? Can't remember.
Thought Silverwood was sound personally in real time I thought he caught that knock on and its only the slow mo that makes it look obvious.
