Ok 50- 12 not good to say the least, but lets try and put this into some sort of context. We have been well and truly beaten by a team that is 3rd in Super League, and, as much as it pains me to say it, are playing some attractive expansive rugby. They are also the highest scoring team in the league. As I type, the team in 6th place (Hudds) have currently put 50 points past Bradford. If we had been hammered by Saints or Wigan, would the (over) reaction of some been as vitriolic. The fact that it's Cas seems to make it worse without actually giving some regard to where they are in the league. I know some of Agars selections and tactics seem mystifying, but, he is the coach, a paid professional, most of us are not. We can all say how much better or different we would/could do things, but if we were that good we would be Super League Coaches, not whatever profession we do now.

It's going to be a long hard season we have had glimpses of what may be in previous games, but we are locked in a battle with Bradford and Salford, and these are the games we must win. Like it or not, Cas are a very good team at the moment.

Sorry but imo the only thing that performance says is we need a new coach.

I don't agree either. If I'd seen the sort of effort those young lads at Wigan gave last night then I would agree. Today I saw ( not for the first time ) a half hearted effort from my team. He can't motivate a team, he doesn't know how to and he never will.

As I said on the other thread i'm sure the usual suspects will be along to defend that 'performance'. Sorry but today was unacceptable. Too many people are willing to accept the failings of this club as par for the course. Well i'm afraid whilstever that happens the we will never move forward and today it was a case of one step forward, two miles back again. Yes Cas are a good side but they aren't a side that should be putting the cleaners through us. Agar AND the players need to take a good long look at themselves.

I'm not defending a poor performance, and i do think its time for a change, but this is the point i was making, Cas ARE a team that can do that, all the stats seem to indicate so at least.

We win two games and two threads on the subject. we lose one and we have several all basically saying the same but under different titles. I guess some of you find it easier to criticise than to say we lost and it will not be the last time this season. I would say what counts is our position after the final round and changing the coach would have little impact on that despite what you all hope.
I notice that every team who lose the supporters come up with the same idea let's change the coach they did it at Salford and I am still to notice much improvement.

Sorry but anyone who tries to condone non contests like today should not be watching a team who are supposed to be playing in a competitive sporting environment

Its not just bout changing coach for sake of it but agar is a waste of space too many plsyers playing out of postion or in siejka case cos he overseas player.can anyone say where seijka is better than wildie cos he aint so srnd him to eastmoor where he belongs get wildie as interchange hooker and get godinet with sammat at half back

Utter BS. Are you actually Richard Agar? So because we play a form team we should not put any effort in concede 50 and just accept it and move on? Agar has had everything at his disposal to do well at Wakefield, don't give me the adversity card either every player sold has been replaced with equivalent quality.
The fact is he is duff he's getting the same results has Kear's last season who had nothing but kids and has beens to work with.

Where did I say we should accept it? all i said was put into the context of playing a top 3 side, and a result like that is not entirely unexpected. The reaction by some has been "because it was Cas" it should have been a closer result without looking at form, positions etc. Look, it's only my opinion, if you don't agree fair enough, no need to just dismiss it out of hand. And, no, I am not Richard Agar. It helps if you read what I actually put, rather than what you think I wrote.

The squad Agar has shouldn't concede 40-50 to anyone. The fact it does regularly speaks volumes of his coaching abilities. Nothing needs to be put into context.

It's not a question of condoning the performance but not immediately constantly wanting to push the panic button every time we lose. Why is is necessary to constantly start different threads all saying the same thing. I wonder if we added up the number of members who post Agar out etc.what it would total because I am sure you will find multiple posts by the same people saying the same but under different headings.
All forums of any team that lose you can find the same posts all demanding the ultimate solution replace the coach. If a club did that every time it was demanded on a forum, the average job life would be about a month.

Joking and banter apart though no way should wakey lose like that to anyone In super league they were just not on the ball today from kick off IMO

Have we been I in the bottom two positions whilst Agar in charge - No.
Has he had to rebuild the squad nearly every season - Yes.
The players he signed for nothing under his coaching did their value not increase to such a point that the money the club earned kept it in existence - Yes.
I would say not a bad report for such a poor coach but why let facts get in the way of your own personal prejudice.
