| Even if we needed a prop I wouldn't go near him - his attitude speaks volumes, refusing to play lower grade, presumably to get some form back.
I don't think we need any more forwards
Quite happy with the squad we have, It's good enough to do what we have to do this year!

| When we were linked with him in the off-season, I'd have been happy to have him; it speaks volumes of how far we've come since then when we can confidently say, "Non merci."

Sounds like he is 'burnt out' due to having no off season, maybe carrying slight injury and struggling with fitness/form.
Either way if it gets resolved with several weeks rest/rehabilitation he would make a great acquisition for a lower SL team or a top championship club....
Maybe Bradford if Mrs Koucash gets her way?....

| If it had happened 2 weeks ago, we may have had him instead of Scruton.
Wasnt Fakir the one that we had agreed a deal with and then told him it probably wasnt going to be possible?? Might explain his lack of off season.
I am lead to believe the reason for his refusal to play in the reserves was that he felt he was been singled out, which when looking at there performance on Sunday, i would have to agree with! He was certainly no worse than the majority.
My mate broke into a chant of "Brent Webb is like my gran" to the same tune that Leeds used to sing to him. Quite good for him that.

| Dodged a bullet if you asked me.
I always rated him but he has gradually slipped away over the pas t couple of seasons.
Had head turned witH RU and also had some injuries and just hasn't come back.
He needs to get another club and strat again if you ask me.

The club also claim that Fakir turned down offers from other clubs to continue his playing career, stopping playing with immediate effect.
Catalan CEO Christophe Jouffret said: “Jamal has been a key player in the team since the beginning. He became one of the most feared prop in the competition.
“He is an honest and responsible man and had the courage to admit that he was not 100%.
“He prefers to stop playing for the moment rather than cheating. The whole club wishes him all the best and will support him for its future choices.”
Your right we have a good enough squad and I'm happy with the team. In regards Fakir, It might not be his attitude it might be he just needs a break full stop. Everybody needs some time out or a change. Good Luck to him.

| Think we have enough props now. When all fit we have Smith, Raleigh, Anderson, Scruton, Tautai & Moore with also Annakin, Molloy & Ryan as options and Shulver in the u19's. If there was any funds left a permanent signing in the backs would be my choice.
