Hmmm. Suppose its better for him to play than not. Had a feeling he'd be offloaded after the ridiculous 10 minute cameo against the Bulls. He would be in my first team line up.

| Atleast he's getting game time, when everyone is back fit I don't reckon he'd have a look in especially when we'll have a bench full of forwards.

| Good for him. He has others ahead of him.
He needs game time.

| The last top quality players we brought through were the ones we had to play and stick with as we had no choice. Would Gaz Ellis or Ben Westwood make it if they were at Wakey now??? I'm not convinced.

Who would you leave out to replace him with? Bearing in mind we could have up to 4 players added to the squad for Saturday

| As much as I would love to see him get more chance and game time the fact is we have better quality players ahead of him and we now have P and R.The time to give him more game time and bring him on was the previous 2 seasons with no P and R but that boat has sailed.

| Not sure what else RA could do; he needs game time and as things stand, there are people ahead of him. I hope he goes well and gets something out of it.

| I'm sure the Dewsbury coach will see him rait, even if he has an Aussie accent (that should bring a few of them out of the woodwork, they've a little quiet recently, perhaps they are planning). Wonder if there would be a problem if Glen became our coach, RA replaced by a foreigner? GM seems to be an Aussie with a pedigree though

| One down three to go, the argument he needs game time is correct but it should be at Wakefield , nobody can tell me he wouldn’t have scored that try Jon Molloy scored on Sunday , Lucas is one of our own who should have  had 1873 investment in him . also he goes, but rhino loanees who won’t be able to get a game and are not as good as Lucas stay . | I think having brought Ryan over from Aus the coach / club want to see what we have got so he is getting in the starting 17. I do not think anyone has seen enough yet to say that Ryan is a better player than Walshaw. I would like to see Walshaw get a run of games in the second row so we can find out about him. I think given a chance he will prove himself. I have nothing against Ryan and hope he becomes a star with us. I do understand that it is easier to play Ryan ( as we have come over from Aus ) and send Walshaw out on loan. I just hope that we can give Walshaw, Trout and Anankin enough chances this season.

| Seems like a sensible decision. For me he is not in the best 17 and he needs to play.

| Seems like a win/win here: he gets game time and also gets the coach that some on here are calling for.
Whether a month is enough to undo years of neglect, not so sure

| I expect, barring an injury crisis, he will be there for most of, if not all, the rest of the season. We have allowed him to play in the cup tie this week thus meaning he would be cup-tied for us, which, despite playing 3 times for us this year already, makes me think we see him as staying there permanently unless needs must. Given his contract is up at the end of the season i wonder if we will see him back at all.
Anyway, so now that a player has left does that mean one can come in......?

Ryan would be the first one that came to mind. I have nothing against him personally and he may prove to be an astute signing, but for me after 3 or 4 games the jury is still out.
We dont see them training on a daily basis so cant give a completely accurate account, but what i do believe is that he & Harry will be given more games to prove there worth than the likes of Walshaw, Trout, Wildie etc based on the simple fact that they have been brought half the way around the world.
As i said in my previous post, the last time we created top quality players was when we had to expose them to Super League rugby through not having a choice.
Playing games at the top level has to improve you. Matty Wildie is a prime example. Was it JK's last year where we were skint and up against it and Matty played quite a few games and walked away with awards at the end of season do. Since then he has played maybe 15 games in total on and off and lets be honest is probably only still here as at one point in the off season it looked like he would be the best we could get.
Dont get me wrong, im not saying MW is a great, but i think he could have been a far better player than people give him credit for currently if he had been given the opportunities.
Forcing us to play our own academy products was something i kind of hoped would be a plus point on the back of our money troubles over the winter. As it stands, i just dont see it happening anytime soon.
