Agree completely. We've a decent set of players and, yes, they need time to settle in together, but the errors are costing confidence - and with lack of confidence come more errors. Time for the experienced hands to show a lead in how to play a minimal error game - or else we'll have no feet left to shoot!

So we should play a simple game plan aimed at cutting down errors. Simple one up rugby in own own half, hand the ball over in their 20, no silly pens, good chase, determined in defence. Its not hard and does not need time to learn.

He is right though IMO. When everything is complicated - new players / injuries etc - you need to go back to some basics first. Build a platform and play from that - not try to play from minute one and score every set. The rest will come, no need to force it.

Although I agree playing a simple game is better right now, it is also easier to defend against a simple game plan.
