| Agars first squad for the opener at Salford:
Richard MATHERS
Peter FOX
Dean COLLIS
Reece LYNE
Paul SYKES
Pita GODINET
Scott ANDERSON
Paul McSHANE
Andy RALEIGH
Ali LAUITIITI
Danny KIRMOND (c)
Danny WASHBROOK
Matty WILDIE
Matty RYAN
Taulima TAUTAI
Jimmy KEINHORST
Lucas WALSHAW
Daniel SMITH
Luke BRISCOE
It will be interesting to see who doesn't make the cut.
Briscoe has gone well in pre season so I think he will be ahead of Keinhorst, with maybe Walshaw the other player not to make the 17 ?

| Yes I guess Keinhorst and Walshaw to miss out in my opinion even though Walshaw has played well.

| I would drop Tautai and one of Keinhorst, Briscoe, Lynn and Fox
I'd probably play three quarters of Fox, Collis, Briscoe and Lynn as Keinhorst hasn't featured in friendlies.
When he's fit Keinhorst should play.
Changed my mind. I forget Ryan is more of a second row
So that is:
Richard MATHERS
Peter FOX
Dean COLLIS
Luke BRISCOE
Reece LYNE
Paul SYKES
Pita GODINET
Scott ANDERSON
Paul McSHANE
Andy RALEIGH
Matty RYAN
Danny KIRMOND (c)
Danny WASHBROOK
Matty WILDIE
Ali LAUITIITI
Daniel SMITH
Taulima TAUTAI

| Maybe Moore picked up a knock? Still a healthy choice of front rowers though.

| Pity as he went well at Hunslet. Think Agar will have to consider Walshaw, he would start every game for me, but with Meli, Hanson, Hock, Junior Sau running out wide we need Walshaw for his defence

I would have Walshaw in the back row with Kirmond and put Ryan at loose. Washbrook and Keinhorst to miss out.

That wont happen Washbrook is our most consistent tackler, we'll need him this game.

Keinhorst not yet played a game so would not throw him into this.
Briscoe played well in warm up games so deserves centre spot.
Walshaw will miss but only because Washbrook is strong defensively and won't be dropped by Agar no matter what.
I wouldn't have all 3 imports on from the start for potential match fitness/cohesive reasons but Godinet is a must and Lauitiiti will be more impactive from bench so Tautai to mix it up front with Salford pack with Raleigh and Anderson off bench. Ryan and Kirmond will hopefully be a good starting second row combination.

| I'd be playing Walshaw in the centres with Collis. Fox and Briscoe on the wings. More size and defensive capability with him there. Lynne and Keinhost to miss out for me.
