| Classic i was 17 and remember it well, especially like to see the cars. My first car was a Zephyer six like the first car shown outside the station but maroon colour, it had a column gear change and bench seats ( great courting car), trouble was only got 19 miles per gallon. The trinity era was at its peak and i luved it i recon it was the best era to be 17 years old with a triumphant trinity and sixties music every thing in waky was buzing people actually smiled.  |

Nah, the late 70's was the greates era, punk music, Trinity at Wembley, and as you say, a buzzing city centre!

I was good at neither!
Loved the punk scene, used to walk into the pubs in Wakey with my pyjamas on, hair spiked up, leather bike jacket on, felt a million dollars, but had to get used to hassle though.

By that brought back memories. Eastmoor (off Ivy Lane and Sawley Close). What looked like Cathedral School. Harry Hayleys model shop, it was like I was a kid again.
Trying to work out who we were playing and it looked like it might have been Warrington. Anyone know who it was.
