| Need to have next seasons merchandise ready for pre-Christmas present-buying period.
Perhaps set up a pre-order system, in tandem with some stock held in shop ( for random & impulse buyers), for kit ( shirts, shorts & socks) plus usual casual wear, beanies, scarves ,etc ( & how about a Calender ?).
Wouldn't this make sense, as reduces risk of being left with too much stock overhang, & kills two birds with one stone, by giving Trinity fans' family/friends one less headache for Christmas present search & more £ for club.
Personal illustration: every year I get given a Leeds Utd Calendar & socks as convenient & affordable presents from relatives(" we couldn't get anything from BV" - excepting Shirts, which are above said rellies budget)
Wife managed to get me Trinity shorts last Christmas after 4 years of trying (previous years only S or XXL sizes in shop!)
Was going to suggest Gift Vouchers too, but wouldn't put on my Santa list until full kit availability is assured ("sorry, no more til next season" - as early as March ! - is a refrain I've become used to wrt Trinity kit)

I think after this year the suppliers will demand money upfront and we don't have it
As Stevo would say "it's as simple as that"

| To sell stuff before Christmas we need a main shirt sponsor. Hopefully some hard selling and some decent sponsorship deals can be finalised and then we can start to think about new kits before Chrimbo.

| I would've thought vouchers would be the better option, given the parlous state of the finances; merchandise has to paid for up front and the last thing we need right now is to be tying up 10's of 000's of £ in stock.

| To control costs and reflect the fact that suppliers are unlikely to make large batches of stock for us without payment up front, could the club not get designs done early and have a few samples available at the club shops for people to view and try for sizes. They could then ask people to pre-order and pay up front so we could tell the supplier how many we wanted and pay them net of the profit margin to produce the required number?

Seems like the best solution to me

That seems sensible, until someone goes in the shop, can't get a Medium and comes blarting on here about what a terrible service they've had, don't the club want my money, corner-shop management etc etc. Plus it negates the 'impulse purchase' that abounds around Xmas time.
Also, it relies on everyone ordering up front at roughly the same time; what happens though, if I order in December but sufficient numbers don't follow suit, so I can't get my shirt until April - then I come blarting on here about the poor service etc etc.
For the sake of simplicity and to catch the Xmas market, I'd sell Shirt vouchers and let people spend them when the current
EDIT has subsided and we are able to stock the shop again in the normal way. I'd quite like to get a voucher like that on Xmas morning - maybe in a card featuring Daddy Cool in his underpants and a Santa hat?
Swear filter.

Or perhaps a free autograph book for kids with players messages in it, or a signed photograph tailored to the recipient.

Loving the idea, not loving the visuals. He can keep his costume on for mine.

It was a very emotional display - I had a tear in my eye.
