As discussed in an earlier thread 4 members of the Supporters Trust were recently invited by the RFL to a presentation of the proposed league structures in 2015. I thought it would be good to have the same presentation at Belle Vue so all Wakey / local RL fans would have the opportunity to listen and speak about the proposals. We have provisionally booked the RFL rep to attend on Mon 16 Sept and have been trying for the last 10 days to book Cats Bar for the event ( this has been very frustrating !!!!!!). As its proving difficult to get a reply from the person who looks after the diary for Cats( and this is not an isolated incident ) we are looking at taking it to another venue but need to gauge numbers . Who would be interested in attending ?

Is there any need for a presentation to be made to supporters, its not like our opinion matters.
The RFL will do what they want, as they always have.
At the presentation you went to feline, did you feel like you had any choice or just that it was nice to be invited and at least have the plans explained?

Wouldn't the club hire out the bottom bar of the hospitality block

I thought it was a step forward that fans were invited and that our opinions were listened to and I am sure they took on board what we had to say .

It is hoped that as well as a presentation from the RFL we will have James Elston and Richard Agar so you can ask them questions about restructuring and other matters relating to the Club.

I would be interested and probably bring another 1 with me possibly another 2 depending on work commitments

Am working so could only commit to attending if it was in the Ossett area; nevertheless will try my best regardless of where it is.

really don't see how this is going to work, even 4 members for the Supporters Trust isn't going to give a balanced debate for any changes as it still only supports a small majority of Wakefields support.

It will be able to give you a in depth idea of theirs plans on how they see it working and you may be privy to hear of their intents on how they intend to prop up teams that do find them selves in financial difficulty

Snowie...it was the original meeting a month ago that 4 supporters from every club in the 3 divisions were invited to & attended. I just thought the rest of the Wakey fans would be interested in the presentation so the RFL have agreed to that so all are invited ( If we can ever get the room booked !!)
