Totally agree... thats probably the main dissapointment in this first half.

Sykes not kicking at all on the last tackle.... Winnable game for sure.

I see our last tackle options havent got any better in this second half.

Some poor decisions on the last tackle at times, but also some sublime passes by Smith; of the two that were called back for forward, the first was nothing like forward - even Eddie had to admit that, and he spent the whole game trying to talk us out of the win.

If the crowd shout "forward" as they were doing on every play the officials must feel like they are missing some. Thaler made a few wrong calls but that's par for the course. I think we got the rub of the green in the main so mustn't grumble.

This is one aspect of Trinity's play which is particularly poor. The best kick on the last tackle was the one Smith put into touch with minutes to go. For some reason the defence looks all at sea when facing a simple grubber.

Our 5th tackle options have been terrible all season. In fact I think we are close to the dumbest team in the league when it comes to controlling a game

I thought it was just me when I text my son about the bias towards Widnes.
Eddie in particular was desperate for us to lose.

Totally correct. We have some great players and can look fantastic at times but we don't seem to be able to get some basic things right. I hope they go and practice their last tackle options and have a good chat about controlling a game when you have the ball. If they do that we'll see this side go places
