a046.gif He's a lad we should be looking at for 2014. a046.gif

Rotating Aiton & Higham would be superb IMO & would add much needed experience & take a bit of the directional responsibility off Timmy.

Have a word on Sunday please Mr Glover.

I'm sure he be a good addition and i'm sure AG would like to have a word.

Then we make it.

We're growing year on year, we need to keep building until we move.

Next year is monumental. 75k saved not signing a player like MH could cost us big if we're scrapping around the wrong end of the table when it's time to "slim line" the competition.

Squad builder, sponsors, allow investment, put ST prices up, a pound extra on pay on the day gate prices. There are lots of ways to make up if we need it.

Too old and over the hill for me we should be looking at younger talent IMHO

Now that all makes sense and is very positve thinking, shame we can't make ends meet and balance the books at this present time.

Higham was an excellent player a few seasons ago and wasn't too far behind Roby but, imo, we need to be looking at some younger options and not going after players who are towards the end of their career's.
Of course we need some experience within the squad but i'm not sure Higham is our man, never mind the wages that he would demand.

higham is very underrated imo and would give us a lot of go forward still a couple of seasons in him too but if its a choice between higham or a stand off then stand off is a must for me

Has business interest over Wigan way I think. A move to Widnes/Salford would probably be his preferred option.

Although another hooker is required, a 6 would be top if my list if money is that tight that all is not possible.

How many have we got OOC at the end of this year??

If Agar puts Sykes to fullback today we might just see our next 6 in Lee Smith who for me would be better than Sykes at Standoff.Think Agar will go with Smith at fullback today though as Sykes aint done a bad job at 6 since stepping in the role last season. As for Higham for me hes another older player we need to start getting some younger blood in for the duration.

Good player - but not for us.

Look elsewhere and find the next Higham please!

Get a 6 or 9 for next year. What about Greg McNally for the No.6 spot. Was quite hot property a couple of years ago, until Shudds got their hands on him. Played in the same good Whitehaven side as Amor, so would he be worth a punt? As for a No.9, maybe Cumbria is the place to be looking, turned out some good players recently.

I would have him rotating with Aiton in a heartbeat . We need a scurryer from dummy half. That Polisier for Catalan is a top player aswell. If Higham available I would sign for next year. Wildie, Wood not good enough.

He's running well at the moment with plenty of quality players around him. I would worry how he would adapt to our situation with the strength of the surrounding players and injuries in the twilight of his career.
