| If we lose I'll be gutted, as having watched Cas play yesterday pretty much all their points came from howlers from HKR players. That said, Fox/Cockayne and Mathers aren't immune to such blunders so perhaps we should credit them for targeting Greg Eden.
If we win well, then I sense there will be real panic within the Cas ranks, and Hauraki and Clarke will perhaps start to resent where they're playing given that there were rumoured to be deals in place to take them away earlier in the year which were blocked by the board. I also think that if we win well then it will pretty much break Cas's season.
If we lose, then so be it. I don't think that it will have too much of an effect on us. Cas have had a terrible last three games and will through the kitchen sink at us no doubt.

| Make no mistake, Cas will be up for this game and are well capable of pulling it together and putting in a winning performance. They've been tough to beat at home and shouldn't be underestimated.

This!
Plus, it was poor conditions they were playing in yesterday. No walk in the park - and must not let anyone convince us otherwise, or we could end up with another 'salford'!

| I have to say I didn't think Cas were that bad and they will ow be even more desperate for the win.
I often find a week off can leave us under cooked so I don't think it will be easy at all.
They were soft in defense at times but equally if Webster is playing he was smashing holes at will. He'll be against Collis so not so bad but the weak side is therefor in front of Shenton so not that much better.
We need to be on our game to win, and ideally have Tim Smith fit along with the other injury worries

| It will be a tough game make no mistake about it. They will be targeting this one to get their season back on track and right some wrongs. We need our injured players back and fit and to be on top of our game to win it.

| Can't say I'm ever confident when Trinity play Cas. I don't think form counts for much in these games, not that either team are showing much recently.

| Cas look a dangerous side out wide and they should also have Carney back on Friday.
We are a weak side out wide.
I think if Cas concentrate on our flanks and especially Fox they will beat us quite easily.

I think that your analysis is pessimistic to say the least. I think what you've put is plausible, but manageable. I too wonder how poorly Fox has to play to get dropped.

I agree, looking positively I'd say that Cas have a lightweight pack and if we get our forwards back we should be able to bully them down the and create good go forward and an attacking platform for Tim Smith to work his magic.

| Fortunately, they don't have a kicking game, which is an area of the game we struggle to defend.
I thought they looked dreadful yesterday - granted the conditions weren't conducive, but without some significant help from Greg Eden, who played like a double agent, they'd have been well beaten.
As had been said though, form counts for nothing in this game - they'll be targetting this one and will want to give their home fans something to shout about.

Greg Eden, man every time I've watch him play recently he's made 3 or 4 cock up's each game. He's obviously talented in attack but god does he hurt his own side.

Just a thought but why would would our game be more significant than any other, presumably if they lose to us they will be targeting their next game to get their season back on track, that is assuming of course that it was ever on track in the first place.
