| Just noticed on the website something to do with the price of Gold Memberships increasing after the end of November ?
The price mentioned is £150 if you buy before the end on Nov.
Have I mis-read something, or is there a further price increase on the way ?
Original price (if we hit 4000 was £125), current price £150 ?

Yep
£125 before November, £150 before December, £175 before January and £250 thereafter.

The £250 for purchases after the end of Jan is a bit steep.
At the moment the S/T's are great value but, at £250 there is no incentive to buy ??

The incentive is to buy early - better for the club as they get the money in the bank, better for the consumer because it's cheaper.

Exactly- According to AG on twitter we are close to 4500 members at this present time, and that is mainly due to the incentive to buy early and get an awesome deal!

Would you buy a season ticket if you only saved £10? I wouldn't. I would rather pay on the gate and not lose out if I had to miss a game.

that's why the incentive is to buy early at £125/£150 and not at £250

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

| The incentive is clearly to buy early and get a discounted price. The sooner people stump up, the better the price they get.
The scenario I can think of where people would pay top whack for a ticket is if the ground is a virtual sell out for each/occasional match. With our limited capacity and increasing crowds we may have a match or two like this in the near future. Why rush to buy a ticket for an all ticket match when you already have a season ticket.

I know that, but I was backing up wrencat, if I had left it too late then I wouldn't bother for the sake of £10, half a game free doesn't really tempt me. I live in Rotherham so doubt i'll really use any of the other 'benefits', I could see the point in someone more local to the discount places buying it later though just not myself.

Exactly - in rare cases like the one you describe, it's probably better for the club if you pay walk-up prices.
I'm not sure I understand where the confusion comes from; there is a clear incentive to buy early - that's proven to be a powerful enough incentive that thus far, 4.5k people have chosen to take it up, with probably another thousand or so likely to follow suit before the second tier early bird price expires.
The rest are likely to be walk-ups paying full price - so the offer appears to have achieved its objective of putting over half a million quid in the club coffers early, in a way that allows financial forecasts to be done in a predictable way with known values.
Simple.
