Bobie Goulding is a strange one for me, he is rumoured to be a done deal according to some on here, but why sign him when we have John? Similar age and type of player. We have the utility back in Lyne, so i would assume it is a forward, but who would be "pleasing for Wakefield fans"?

John had is good games just ashame he had alot of bad games but is still young, I think Bobbie Goulding JR will be a precaution just incase anything happens to Smith or Sykes.

Aren't Smith, Sykes & Wildie all due to be off contract at the end of 2013. If so, Goulding could well be a backup if anything goes wrong or we end up losing them

I don't think he had many bad games. Its just when he was playing in the earlier part of the season the pack were very much second best against most opposition. His three cut out passes for Cockayne against the Farts showed what he is capable of. Still if he's not going to figure in Agar's plans for next season his non-fed spot should be better utilised.
