Who have we got out of contract at the end of this season at Wakefield think alot were on 2/3 year deals? Who should be retained?

I'd like to see Tim Smith re-signed and I must say I am a bit envious when I see clubs already securing the services of quality players for next season, (not just from down under). We really could do with someone a bit special to maintain momentum but no-one on the horizon at the present time!

There seem to have been quite mixed views of Mathers on here over the last few months.

On balance I think overall Mathers has been more good than bad for us. I'd be happy to keep him on. (I know other people have different views.)

I think it depends on what salary. If on his reputed Cas salary then its a no for me

Completely agree but I also think we need to review those players that overall through the season who either have not performed consistently to a top 8 Super League standard or even got into the 17. Motu Toni being one of those.

R.A. has said he's going to cut back on the size of the squad but also looking to add quality to it. Lee Smith is one of these and has a point to prove to Leeds so will come good.
