| When Richard Agar was at Hull I'm sure you are aware he took alot of stick from the Hull fans. Personally I thought he was treat a little bit harshly. I just thought the job was too big for him at that stage in his career, but felt that given time at the right club he still had the makings of a decent coach.
He has been in charge for nearly a season now so I was just interested to hear what you guys have made of him. You seem to have had some decent results and are usually competetive.

| I was opposed to him coming in, but was initially happy with how the team were performing, if not the results. The play was expansive and I thought Trinity were playing some good stuff. Granted things needed to improve but it looked like the team was going in the right direction.
However, over the last 3 months the team, IMO, has gradually got worse performance wise and his team and bench selections are puzzling. He does seem to be overly loyal to a set group of players with others not really getting their chance, Kyle Wood/Andy Ellis being the prime examples. Second half performances are consistently worse than the first half so I his ability to motivate the team is in question.
Wouldn’t be disappointed if he was replaced next year, but the key would be with who.

| not done an awful job, but i was expecting the team to have done a little better. Some games/players have been frustrating. Recruitment was as well as could be expected with the timescale the club had. Next season will be the one I judge on, when he has recruited some of his own guys and got rid of some of those he doesnt want.

| Half term report 6 1/2 out of 10, could do better.
As has been said, better things were expected from the group of players that started the season.
IMO, he seems to have an opinion of where we whould be as a team 9th/10th and with the exception of beating Catalan at home, we
have not been good enough to beat any of the top 8 teams and there seems to be an acceptance of this.
Not a guy to rally the troops in adversity or inspire them to run through brick walls.

We would have beaten Wire if not for Halibut, and had a good go at the KC and should have beaten Leeds in a points fest. I was more annoyed with the displays against London and Cas.

| I'm in the 6 1/2 out of 10 camp.
He has had moments, but could do a lot better.
The difference for me is I still think we can do better under him. I'm all for consistency at the club and want to give him another season before I pull the plug.
Appointing and sacking coaches has hurt us in the past when leave things alone would have helped more. I want to give that a go myself and at the moment that is Agar.

Totally agree.
We have to accept that, despite many people wanting different people to coach our team, given where we were at the time, which top coach would have picked Trin ahead of any other SL club ?
In a couple of years time we should have N/M on the near horizon, more stability at the club and hopefully then, if Agar hasn't performed (ie top , then we will have plenty to offer as a club.

Yes this, like you said above we could have quiet easily have had another 4 or 5 wins but for a call her and there, the Warrington game the most obvious one but also, Leeds, Hull, Hull KR and Bradford and that would put a different reflection on the season. The biggest downer performances were the Bradford home one, the London away game followed by the Cas home game, those 3 ed me off no end.

| Not good enough to be a top level coach. All this talk about about having a few more wins on the board, no one mentions the games against hull and Salford which we could easily have lost.

| We cant defend thats for sure and with this set of players should have had more wins.Like him or not hes got another 2 years left on his contract after this season and you can bet your life he will see it out just like he did at Hull even in the face of loads of abuse.Dont think he has it to be honest and by the looks of things couldnt put fire in a well lit BBQ.Do I think we can do better than Agar has us doing a big yes but get used to the idea of him as our coach and the down turn in attendance.

Told buy a first team member that Agar was like a horse in foal with Washbrook and Wood when he first arrived, and also the same two sat on his table while eating at the club after training laughing at Agar's poor jokes, I will also say Wakefield had 3 far better players in the squad in Ellis, Wildie and Moore ? Kyle Wood could not kick a barn door, his defence is weak, and offers nothing in creativity ? Ask his former 6 clubs who released him, Wakefield acadamy, Doncaster, Batley, Cas, Sheffield, Hudds, WHY does this clown Agar play him, and WHY would Nathan Brown at Hudds give him away for nothing, It beggars belief !!!

| Still prepared to consider that the squad is a bit "thrown together" and would be prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt until after some off-season recruitment. I am more bothered about how far off the eight we are than the actual league position number. If we are nowhere near the eight this time next year, he's done for me.
