Having written four novels, all with a strong Rugby League background, (One Winter, One Spring, One Summer and One Autumn) I am currently working on the next in the series. It will be set during the 2002 and 2003 seasons and will again be inspired by the old saying about being at work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".
So far it has such illuminating chapter titles as A Day on the M62, He Was A Good Yorkshireman, Afternoon Tea at Bailiff Bridge, A Tale from Knowsley Road, Going To Old Trafford, Muck Stacks Galore and The Jehovah's Widnes.
This coming Saturday morning (June 2nd), I will be in WH Smith in the Ridings Centre, signing copies of my fourth novel 'One Autumn' and also on the look out for more material.

Thanks for that. My initial search was on "One Autumn" and it didn't show. Now I've done it with your author name it has popped up.
I'll have a good nose around.
BTW try to release it on kindle if you can. I love my kindle and it is rare for me to buy paper/hardbacks nowadays.

In addition to the above don't forget our own Slugger McBatt(Neil White) who has written some belting Crime Novels and has another due to be published next month.
Its called "Beyond Evil" and I've pre-ordered it from Amazon and its also available for Kindle. Can't wait for it to be delivered.

And they come highly recommended by my crime drama-obsessed better half! Whilst I myself have read all four of Geoff Lee's books and enjoyed them all. |
