Was thinking the same, but then again its right under there noses and would we want them to see how we train? catch 22 and all that. Hopefully weve had a dabble on something similar closer to home

They are hoping it gives them an advantage as the interview with Briscoe states. Friday will answer a lot of questions, ending in a positive result for us hopefully.

I actually dont think it will effect the players any other way than mentally. Everyone thats been on it has said it feels like grass, just you dont come off muddy as hell. Its going to benefit the community a damn site more than the club i reckon but the moneys welcome and if it does get a few players mentally then thats all good too

This pitch is fully artificial, the one at the goat farm is one third I think.

Running on it I think will work for us as we seem to want to spread the ball and run it wide. No mud fest will help us.
It's more a bounce of the ball thing. As long as Smith and John and the back three get chance to practise kicking and catching on the bounce I think it will be ok. We won't hav eto be running moves on it.
If I was kicking, I'd try to get the ball to ground early on with grubbers just to see what happens. When you are attacking on the ground you want confusion. Either ball is spilled or skids around for a loose hand to score.
In the air it is a timing thing and can be more 50-50.
